Static frequency multiplier circuit - operates by inversion during one input half cycle and employs diode controlled switching bridge

A static converterless frequency multiplier is used which provides a high stability output from a fixed frequency power source. Conversion is based on the inversion of one half cycle of the input during one half period by a symmetrical four switch bridge using transistors or thyristors as the switches. The switch pairs (1-4) are connected in series across the supply (v. reseau) via a single choke (7) in one line the output being taken across the remaining junctions of the bridge, across a parallel capacitor (9). Phase shifting is derived from a capacitance in series with a supply transformer and diode switched to the opposite bridge element.
