<p>PURPOSE:To improve treating velocity by preventing aggregation of iron powder in a vessel with mechanical stirring at the time of executing oxidation and reduction of the recovered iron powder in fluidized bed type treating vessel. CONSTITUTION:The iron powder 2 recovered from converter dust, etc., is supplied into the treating vessel 1, and treating gas 4 of the oxidizing gas, reducing gas, etc., is blown from a blowing nozzle 3 at bottom part in the treating vessel 1 and passed through a net plate 5 to fluidize the iron powder 2 existing on the upper part thereof. In this case, by holding the inner temp. of the treating vessel 1 to high level, the oxidizing reaction and the reducing reaction are smoothly progressed and the treating velocity is improved, but iron powder particle are mutually easy to aggregate. Therefore, a stirrer 6 is inserted in the treating vessel 1 to crush the aggregated iron powder 2 with these blades 7. By this method, the contacting efficiency of the iron powder 2 to the treating gas 4 can be increased.</p> |
