<p>PURPOSE:To surely remove harmful light to a driver by shielding a ray which is reflected by a rear window and directed to the front of an automobile by means of the top edge of a lamp body upper part zone. CONSTITUTION:Considering the light track of a light L which is directed upward from the front lens 20 of a high mounted stop lamp 10 and whose incident angle is the largest with respect to a rear window 1, a shade 17 is formed in such a way that the reflected light L1 by the rear window 1 of the light L is shielded by the top edge of a shade upper part zone 17a. That is, since the angle of reflection of light which is reflected by the rear window 1 is smaller than the angle of reflection theta of the light L, when the light L is shielded, all light which is reflected by the rear window 1 and directed to the front of an automobile is surely shielded by the shade upper part zone 17a. If all reflected light by the rear window 1 in the upper position of a lamp is shielded, no light is directed to a rear-view mirror 60 without causing a driver to be dazzled.</p> |
