<p>The process is for the application of small amts. of fluid to a moving length of material. It uses a similarly shaped transfer unit, which is squeezed together with the material. The transfer unit consists of a separate continuously moving follower. The applicator has a medium container (10) which consists of a trough whose length is equal to the width as the material. The transfer belt (7) passes through the container, and it is then passed together with the material length (1) between a pair of rollers (4, 5). The transfer belt extends around one roller (4), and is immersed into to the container.</p> |
