Tobacco cutting machine with transporter - has compacting press with swivelling wall exerting compacting pressure

A machine is used for cutting of tobacco. It has a cutting arrangement and a storage container for holding tobacco to be cut. The holder has a driven bottom belt transferring tobacco and there is a compressing transporter adjacent to cutter. Tobacco is transported and fed into the cutter. The tobacco is cut with high throughput rate. The reciprocating carriage (24) for the transporter belt has wall (38) swivelling on axis (41) parallel to the bottom belt. This wall projects into the storage container (1). This wall is swung periodically against the tobacco (17), the pressure exerted is controlled to specific value and the carriage has a controlled stop (51) to ensure position on wall swinging.
