Plastic-sized paper coated with setting-retardant for concrete - for removal in selected areas to produce patterns on concrete surfaces

Paper which is to be coated with a setting-retardant for concrete is coated on both sides with plastics, specifically polyethylene. The paper si placed on selected areas of concrete surfaces to prevent them from setting whilst allowing non-covered area to set. The paper is then removed and those zones that have remained non-set are washed away so that the remaining (set) zones represent a predetermined pattern or design, e.g. on facades of buildings. Sizing the paper with polyethylene ensures even and all-over contact of the paper with the concrete surface enabling the setting-retardant to act as intended.
