PURPOSE:To enable operation of a power converting section even when the battery voltage is lower than a regular level, by isolating a battery from a control power source when a power source equipment is not operating and connecting the output from a converter for converting a high voltage input into a low voltage output with the control power source when the power source equipment is started. CONSTITUTION:Upon application of a high voltage input onto a converter 3, the converter 3 produces outputs which are fed to a control power source 8 and a control circuit 5. When the voltage detection circuit 501 in the control circuit 5 detects operation of the converter 3, a contact 6 closes upon elapse of a time interval set through a time limit circuit 502. At this time, a power converting section 2 has been producing a voltage converted into low level, and closure of the contact 6 causes supply of an output from the power converting section 2 through a diode 7 to the control circuit 5 and a control power source 8. The converter 3 is stopped upon elapse of a time interval set through a time limit circuit 503. |
