The flexible heating cushion has built-in vibratory motors in the form of ironless coils with permanent-magnet discs rocking in the coil bores under the action of the alternating magnetic field. The coil openings are preferably covered by membranes of non-magnetic material. The coil bodies(4) have protruding flanges(8) and fit direct in openings in a single- or twin-layer foam material plate which is highly elastic, so that the external face of the coil winding(5) bears against the internal face of each opening. The protruding flange edges(8), free of the winding, accommodate between them the edges(10) of the opening in the plate(3).
