Height adjustable table or chair - uses gas spring released by hand operated lever with connecting link to actuating pin

Between the trigger pin (4) i.e. its axial extension, (5) and the hand lever connecting link is provided. It is centered in the trigger pin (4) and its extension (5) with limited movement, and activated by the hand lever. The movement of the connection link (13) on a chosen outer sheath line is achieved by means of a cylinder of a truncated cone, coaxially to the gas spring. The connector link (13) has an approximately vertical arm (14). This arm is provided with a peg to achieve a tight but movable start into the solid front end of the trigger pin (4), i.e. into its extension. Useful in camping caravans where tables have to be lowered to seat height to form the lease of a bed.
