PURPOSE:To transmit the latest one of inquiry data where the generations are changed by discontinuing the transmission of the inquiry data under transmission and transmitting the next latest inquiry data in case the reception is through with said next latest inquiry data during transmission of the inquiry data. CONSTITUTION:A reception processing part 15 of a repeating installation stores every latest inquiry data received from a host device alternately into 1st and 2nd storing areas A and B. A transmission processing part 13 identifies the storing area storing the latest inquiry data and reads the corresponding data out of the storing area and sends this data to a terminal equipment when receiving an inquiry from this terminal equipment. It is retrieved whether the next latest inquiry data is received or not for each reception of data of each transmission unit during transmission of a series of inquiry data. If the reception of said latest inquiry data is through, the transmission of the data under transmission is discontinued and the next latest inquiry data which are continuously received are transmitted at and after the head part of the data. Thus it is possible to transmit the new inquiry data without discontinuing the transmission of the inquiry data received during a series of transmission processes. |
