<p>The electric circuit socket opens the current path to which it is connected to allow insertion of electric components and/or units, e.g. meters via connectors. The unit provides a convenient and robust system that allows self-actuation of the electric connections and disconnections in sequence following insertion of the connector into the socket unit. The socket unit is fitted with a switching unit that is designed such that the insertion of the component connector(s) in sequence initially makes a connection between to components or appts. being switched into the circuit with the circuit terminals then breaks the intermediate, direct, current-path.</p> |
