PURPOSE:To reduce operating cost by discharging a battery on condition that the input current of a converter exceeds a set value and controlling the discharge current to a value corresponding to the difference between the input current of the converter and the set value. CONSTITUTION:A discharge control section 100 comprises an input current detecting circuit 21 for detecting an AC input current based on an output signal from a current transformer and a discharge start current setting circuit 22. An integrator 23 compares these two input signals and integrates the difference on condition that the AC input current exceeds a discharge start current, thus producing a voltage signal corresponding to the battery discharge current. Furthermore, a discharge current detecting circuit 24 for detecting the actual discharge current is provided and a comparator 25 compares the output signal from the discharge current detecting circuit 24 with the output signal from the integrator 23 to produces a logical signal corresponding to the difference between these output signals, then a gate circuit 26 performs ON/OFF control of a discharge FET 15 according to the logical signal. |
