PURPOSE:To enhance magnetic recording characteristics, thermal recording characteristics and storage stability by incorporating a polyester polyurethane resin in the respective magnetic hiding layer, thermal color forming layer and first protective layer formed on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:In the laminate constitution formed by successively applying a magnetic recording layer, a magnetic hiding layer, the first protective layer and the second protective layer on a substrate, the magnetic hiding layer, the thermal recording layer and the first protective layer respectively contain a polyester polyethane resin. The polyester polyurethane resin is obtained from polyester polyol constituted of an acid component and a glycol component, polyisocyanate and, if necessary, a chain extender. In this case, since the polyester polyurethane resin is used as a binder, water resistance can be markedly enhanced while excellent magnetic and thermal characteristics are kept. |
