A glass pane (1) is held in a frame (2) by means of two glazing fillets (3 and 4) formed by Z-shaped sections. The glazing fillet (3), located on the side at risk of being exposed to a fire, is open worked in order to prevent a temperature gradient between the central region and the periphery of the glass pane. In addition, asbestos strips (10 and 11) insulate the pane from the cold parts of the frame. Glass strips (13) adhere to the pane (1) in the event of a fire and prevent it from sliding out of its frame. This glazed panel, which is simple to assemble, is of cost-effective construction. It may be installed in doors and walls of various buildings. <IMAGE>
