The joiner requires many relatively large screw clamps when gluing together parts of large surface area. The invention creates an aid which enables even difficult pressure-applying situations to be mastered with a small range of various screw clamps. The clamping tool is distinguished by a bar-shaped element (1) which can be used as a single-arm lever and is provided at one end with a pivotable pin (2) which runs perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis and through which an adjusting screw (3) passes.
