PURPOSE:To obtain a multicolor image having high image quality at a high speed in low cost by repeating a process forming a liquid latent image on a liquid latent image holding body and a process for forming an image by a developer a plurality of times. CONSTITUTION:Two processes, that is, a process (1) for forming a liquid latent image 3 of the first color on a liquid latent image holding body 1 by adhering a liquid substance (e.g., water 85wt.% + diethylene glycol 15wt.%) on said holding body 1 from a liquid droplet supply source 2 (e.g., bubble jet recording head) and a process (2) for forming an image on the liquid latent image holding body 1 by allowing a developer to act on the above mentioned liquid latent image 3 are continuously performed on the same liquid latent image holding body 1 a plurality of times. By this method, a color overlap development collective transfer process can be easily performed on the liquid latent image holding body difficult to realize by an electrophotographic process. |
