PURPOSE:To understand a monitoring object by an exact and concrete image by displaying concrete information such as a photograph, etc., as monitoring information in a state of its image. CONSTITUTION:When an operator operates a mouse 1 in a position corresponding to a desired image on a displayed plan view, an indicating signal is generated, and a CPU 2 reads out video data stored in a memory 3. In the memory 3, together with plural images containing a monitoring object photographed by a camera, etc., an arrow symbol for indicating the monitoring object in the image is stored as video data, respectively, and the CPU 2 displays the video data which is read out on a CRT by a multi-window. Accordingly, it can be displayed by superposing it on the whole plan view containing a displayed video part. In such a way, the operator can understand the monitoring object by an exact and concrete image. |
