PURPOSE:To produce stretchable clothes, for which puckering, twisting and limping, etc., is not generated, by immersing, fixing stretchable cloth in water soluble resin, lowering the stretching factor of the cloth less than 10%, executing desired sewing in such a state, afterwards, dissolving and removing the water soluble resin. CONSTITUTION:The stretchable cloth is woven and knit products by using temporarily twisted working threads or elastic threads such as covered threads or core span threads, etc., for example, for which spandex fiber threads are used as core threads, as for synthetic fiber and stretching factor of this stretchable cloth is more than 15% when the load of 1.5kg is applied in one direction out of longitudinal and lateral directions, at least, per sample width 5cm. As the water soluble resin into which the stretchable cloth is immersed, resin to be easily dissolved to solvent such as polyvinylalcohol (ex. water soluble Vinylon(R), etc.) is used and especially, the polyvinylalcohol for which the number average degree of polymetrization is 1000-1500, is preferable to be used. The sewn product obtained by cutting and sewing is washed by a flush washing machine such as a rotary washer, etc., and the water soluble resin is dissolved and removed. Thus, the puckering, twisting and limping, etc., is prevented and the defective rate of the product is reduced by half. |
