<p>New and valuable substituted pyrazoles, herbicides containing these compounds as active ingredients, and a process for controlling the growth of unwanted plants with these compounds. The substituted pyrazoles have the general formula : (I) where R1 denotes hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, phenyl, or acyl of the formula : R6 denoting hydrogen, alkyl or alkyl substituted by dichlorophenoxy, alkoxy, phenoxy or phenyl, and R7 and R8 being identical or different and each denoting hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl or alkynyl, R2 denotes alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl or phenyl substituted by halogen or alkyl, or thienyl radical, R3 denotes hydrogen, chloro, bromo, or lower alkyl, and R4 denotes the radicals -S-R5, -SO-R5 or -SO2R5, R5 denoting alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, phenyl or halophenyl, or benzothiazolyl radical.</p> |
