<p>The base (18) rests on brackets on side panels forming the luggage boot and at the rear of the vehicle back seat. The base has a central flat piece and two side parts joined by hinges. To line up with the hinges the side pieces carry lugs. The base consists of a number of adjacent bands, joined together. These are hinged so that they can turn towards the base, relative to the adjacent ones. The boot is such as to hold the complete assembly when it is folded up.</p> |
