<p>The machine delivers lengths of steel angle from one conveyor to a second one or to a stacking mechanism, turning them if necessary. A number of transporter members travel parallel to each other along a closed track. The members are angle-section pockets (10), between which and in the path of the lengths are stationary electromagnets (16), switched on as desired. The lengths are turned over in the pockets during their downwards movement by switching the magnets on. The pockets can be situated between two transporter arms (5, 7) rotating on separate axes, and attached to them, and there can also be an auxiliary coupling link (11) between each pair of arms.</p> |
