In a section of the manure channel, the manure to be ventilated is introduced at a point below the level of the manure channel base. Compressed air is introduced at the lowest point at which a manure take-off tube is arranged. The manure is fed upwards by means of the compressed air in the manure take-off pipe and is then delivered as ventilated manure at another section of the manure channel. An injector (8, 10, 16, 19) in an unventilated section of the manure flow consists of an air blower (19), a manure tube (8) in the unventilated manure, a manure take off tube (10) and an air feed tube (16, 17).
