Grouped paving stone laying vehicle - has clamp hung on bent arm hinged to load arm end

Single-axle barrow-type chassis is used as mobile device for laying heavy units assembled from groups of paving stones, with a loading arm hinged to a pole, swivelling about a horizontal axis and bearing a paving-stone clamp. The loading arm(9) has a bending arm(16), also swivelling about a horizontal axis, hinged to its open end, and the clamp(25) for the paving stones is suspended on this. It pref. has arm sections(17, 18) of unequal length, at right angles to each other, the shorter one being hinged to the loading arm; and it may be fitted with one or more hydraulic swivel cylinders(21). This arrangement makes the laying vehicle easier to handle.
