The turbine driven dentist's drill has a compressed-air supply pipe containing an air pressure control. The control is a pressure limitation device (8) automatically keeping air pressure at a constant level. Typically it can comprise a portion of reduced cross-section in the supply pipe (7) formed by a sleeve (9) inserted in the latter. Alternatively the pressure control can be a radial port forming an air discharge outlet, and in which a pressure relief valve is mounted, this incorporating a spring-loaded plug working in a sleeve.
