The equipment cleans and fills medical syringes, which are transported from a loading point through a cleaning unit, a drying and sterilising tunnel and a filling mechanism. Between the cleaning unit and the tunnel is a mechanism to form magazines of syringes, each of these comprising a perforated rail. The rails can be of U-section, while the holes are at regular intervals in its transverse web. The syringes can each have a cylindrical main portion with or without nozzle, and a wider edge at the filler opening. The dia. of the rail holes is greater than that of the cylindrical portion and less than the filler opening edge.
