Composite guide bushing has its cylindrical member composed of a number of sections which for the purpose of relative displacement w.r.t. one another are cut along planes which extend parallel to the axis of the bore of the member, and tangential to the bore periphery. Used for mfg. electric cables, twisted cables, hoses which are rotated whilst displaced also in the axial directions. Bore is readily radially distensible.
