The metering device has a carrier frame (1) supporting a supply container (2), which communicates with an intermediate store (3) via a discharge valve (4). The mouthpiece (5,6,7,8,9,10) projecting from the intermediate store (3) has an exit valve (9,10) for simultaneous opening and closing of the discharge line (8) and a vent line (7,11,12). The vent line (7,11,12) projects above the highest possible level in the intermediate store (1). Pref., the discharge line (8) and the vent line (7,11,12) are concentric.
