METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DECIDING COHESION PATTERN

PURPOSE:To automate decision making as to whether or not the cohesion pattern is positive by sending the outputs of an area difference arithmetic part and an HA data arithmetic part to a decision circuit as specific characteristic values for the positive decision on the cohesion pattern. CONSTITUTION:A CCD line sensor 101 is driven by a sensor scanning driving circuit 12 to operate, and outputs the particle cohesion pattern on a microplate 100 as pieces of line information which are cut at a fine distance. The 1st and 2nd cut level output circuits 21A and 21B of a cut level output circuit 21 have multiplication parameters, input and multiply the maximum value H of cohesion pattern data by the multiplication parameters, and output the results as 1st and 2nd cut levels Ca and Cb. Then the outputs of the area difference arithmetic part 22 and HA data arithmetic part 24 are sent to the decision circuit 6 as the specific characteristic values for the positive decision making for the cohesion pattern.
