An anticorrosive compsn. for a galvanized steel plate comprises (a) (C5-15) amine salt of benzoic acid 30-55 wt.% i.e. triethanolamine benzoate, cycolhexylethanolamine benzoate, (b) urea 10-25 wt.%, (c) NaNO2 15-35 wt.% as a reducing cpd., and (d) Na2CO3 3-8 wt.%. The compsn. of 40-70 wt.% is added to H2O-MeOH (4:1-3:2) of 30-60 wt.%, doped onto a carft paper by 20-30 g/m2, and air blasting (60-90 deg. C) to give a volatile anticorrosive paper. A synergistic effect is obtd. by adding Na2CO3.
