<p>A scissors-like tilting device, e.g., for use on trucks, has a lower lever, hinged to the body of the vehicle and an upper double-arm scissors-lever, hinged to the loading platform, and a hydraulic piston (1, 2) connected between the body of the vehicle and a shaft on the upper lever. The purpose is to obtain a wide tilting angle of the loading platform combined with a large initial lifting force, which has the possibility of exerting at any position of the loading platform a positive backward force on the platform. The solution consists in providing an angled end for the lower scissors-lever (3.3") and a special trapezoidal hinge connection between the scissors-levers (3.3", 4.4") that is formed by connecting links (5.5", 6.6") of different lengths. The arrangement also allows an especially low construction height of the tilting device in its initial position. </p> |
