The system is intended for e.g., temperature, pressure and speed measurements or for switching functions, on the time division multiplex basis. This is achieved by using commercially available integratable assemblies of the CMOS system for the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter operates in a wide frequency range up to 10 MHz, and has an interrogation device for all channels, e.g. a counter and multiplexer or oscillator, and a control logic system for transmission of monitoring and control signals. The number of channels is determined by the maximum permissible transmission delay.
