<p>Solar energy is used to heat water in a heat-insulated container, and incorporates an upper wall consisting of a transparent panel, and an internal-fluid tube system. The system (24) uses tubes (26) position in layers parallel to the upper wall (14). The pipes are staggered relative to each other from layer to layer. Each layer consists of a meandering pipe, the to- and fro sections of which encloses an acute angle, esp. between 10 deg. and 30 deg. All tubes are connected at one container (10) end to a distributor (28), and at the other end, to a collector (29). Distributor and collector are located within the container, and have in- and outlet sockets (30, 31) which pass through the container wall.</p> |
