PURPOSE:To reduce the resistance value of a transparent electrode and to reduce the generation of uneven color by connecting electrically the transparent electrode in a color filter substrate, and a light-shielding layer consisting of an electric conductor. CONSTITUTION:The color filter substrate is used for a liquid crystal, display device, and provided with a transparent electrode and a color filter element 2 provided on this transparent electrode in accordance with each element of each pixel of the liquid crystal display device. Also, in each element of each pixel, a light-shielding layer consisting of a black electric conductor provided in a position which does not correspond, the transparent electrode formed on the color filter element 2 and the light-shielding layer and a means for connecting electrically the light-shielding layer 5 consisting of chrome and the transparent electrode 4 between the color filter elements are provided. such a way, since the transparent electrode and the light-shielding layer 5 are connected electrically, a resistance value of the transparent electrode 4 on the surface of the color filter can be reduced remarkably, and color shading on a display screen can be prevented. |
