<p>PURPOSE:To set a system impervious to a system bus neck even if the number of processors is increased by executing a program processing on common memory systems in which the individual processors are connected to private memory buses. CONSTITUTION:The processors 1-1 to 1-N are connected to the common memory systems 3-1 to 3-N through the private memory buses 2-1 to 2-N. The processors 1-1 to 1-N and the common memory systems 3-1 to 3-N are connected to a common system bus 9. The respective memory systems 3 are allocated to different address areas on the memory map of the systems. OS executed in the respective processors 1 and most of the other application programs are processed on the common memory systems 3 connected to the private memory buses 2. Thus, the use rate of the common system bus 9 of the respective processors 1 is reduced. Consequently, the occurrence of performance saturation due to the system bus neck can be prevented.</p> |
