Shrink-film packagings are usually designed in such a manner that the object to be packaged is completely surrounded by a tubular film. This necessitates a corresponding material requirement. In order to reduce the film requirement in packagings of this type, the latter does not extend over the full surface of the underside of the object to be packaged, but edge strips (27) of the film (24) are fastened, e.g. by sticking, on the underside (21) of the object (22) in the edge region of the same. As a result, the character of a usual shrink-film packaging is maintained externally. The material requirement is, however, reduced. <IMAGE> |
