PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic shield material which is lightweight and cheap and to enable it to be thermally treated in an oxygen atmosphere by a method wherein a silver film is formed on the surface of a plate formed of iron, silicon steel, Ni base alloy, or the like, and a thin film of an oxide superconductive material is deposited on the silver film. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic shield material of iron, silicon steel, Ni base alloy, Co amorphous alloy, Fe amorphous alloy, permalloy, copper, or the like is processed into a thin, lightweight plate. Next, a silver film is formed on the plate, and an oxide superconductive material composition is deposited thereon. By this constitution, even if a superconductive magnetic shield material of this design is thermally treated in an oxygen atmosphere, the reaction is prevented from occurring between an oxide superconductive material and a magnetic shield material, so that cracks or the separation of the material are prevented. An oxide superconductive material is cheap and liquid nitrogen can be used as a coolant for it, so that economical operation can be realized. |
