The door-handle connection, especially for fire doors, has a steel handle pin (7) of angular cross-section. The ends of this pin are fastened in steel guide sleeves (3) so as to be releasable and axially braceable. The outer ends of these sleeves are connected to steel cores (2) which are surrounded by the light-metal cast casings (1) of the handle halves. Each of these two halves is assigned, on the door side, a steel bottom plate and a light-metal top plate. These plates bear on the surface of the door in a gas-tight manner. The steel bottom plate (10) and the light-metal top plate (11) are fixed to a steel bush (13) so as to be axially non-displaceable, but rotatable. The bush is connected firmly and in a gas-tight manner to the guide sleeve in the region of the inner end of the latter. <IMAGE>
