Cheques received by mail order firms are enclosed in special envelopes which can be opened by means of a machine. Each envelope is made with an additional flap(12) which is folded along the line(3). The cheque(11) is placed inside the flap which is then folded again and sealed by the side flaps(D, F). The cheque is thus restricted from moving inside the envelope.
