<p>The sealing cap is for liq. drain apertures in vehicle body work. It consists of two plates, one being received in the drain aperture. The other plate snaps into the first plate and traps a layer of air to prevent the transmission of noise. The first element pref. has a dished-section, and snaps into the aperture, and may include sealing and snap-fit collars. The second element is pref. shaped to increase the volume of trapped air. The cap is pref. formed of plastics, the two parts being joined by a filament.</p> |
