<p>The demountable sectional shelving unit has four posts (2, 3), two lateral vertical panels(4), several horizontal shelf panels (1) at vertical intervals, and a rail(18) supporting each longitudinal edge of shelving(1). The front posts(2) are of a hollow 'T' section with the leg end open to form a channel housing the vertical edge of a lateral panel(4). The rear posts(3) are of an 'L' section and feet(6) are provided for all posts. The 'T' section post(2) is strengthened by a continuous trapezoidal channel in the outer wall of the bar, has hexagonal holes at regular intervals in each of the two sectors of the inner wall of the bar, and has keyhole slots at similar intervals in the two flanges forming the stem. Double headed studs may retain slotted(5) panel(4) edges in the leg channel, and the rails(18) may be supported by inverted 'L' hooks engaging the hexagonal holes.</p> |
