A flexible storage vessel for granular material or powder is supported in a framework by carrier elements inserted in sleeves formed from the material of the vessel. The upper part of the framework is formed by angle irons forming a horizontal peripheral support surface for the carrier elements. The carrier elements are pref. tubular. Their ends being formed so that they are locked in the frame. They are pref. cut to form mitres at the corners of the frame, with their ends abutting.
