PURPOSE:To obtain a remedy, consisting of a wood ash essence extracted by applying a tree to prescribed treatment and capable of exhibiting effects on treatment of adult diseases, such as peptic ulcer, hypertension and cancer. CONSTITUTION:A wood ash essence obtained by completely or incompletely burning woody parts or branch and leaf parts of a coniferous or broadleaf tree, i.e., roasting the tree in a covered pan, adding water at a volume ratio of 4-10 times based on the wood ash thereto, then stirring the resultant mixture, boiling the wood lye thereof for >= several hr, carrying out hot-water extraction and removing ash from the extract solution by a method for filtration, centrifugation, etc. The resultant wood ash essence is orally administered to maintain health and exhibit treating effects on adult diseases. |
