Skin testing device with passive and active electrodes - uses electronic system with multiplier to operate digital integrator

The appts. for testing the skin of a patient has a passive electrode held by the patient, and an active electrode which is moved over the skin. The active electrode can resemble a brush, and is treated with a blood isotonic luquid. The equipment has an indicator for showing the effective test time. A multiplier circuit operates on the voltage and current resulting from the tests, over a given time. This gives a single integral reading, which is indicated in milli watt seconds. The voltage applied is varied by an intensity regulator, and the current gradient is varied by another regulator. A circuit activates a switch to protect the patient from the above. The maximum voltage reached during the test is indicated and held. The single integral reading of current over a given time may be shown by a digital integrator.
