Immersible thermostatically controlled heater has both heater element and thermostat totally enclosed in separate housings. Heater element is located in metallic housing which is hermetically connected to plastics housing in which is disposed the thermostat. Metallic housing is provided with an earth connection. Used for aquaria and domestic brewing and fermentation of alcoholic drinks.
