<p>The impact damper is for stamping presses which have a tool top section and bottom section and a holder for the material to be machined, which lies on the bottom section. On the tool bottom section there is an elastically compressible stack of non-metallic, thin plates, especially of paper or plastic. In the output position, the top side of the stack projects beyond the surface of the material which lies on the tool bottom section. There can be one central plate stack or several of them distributed over the surface of the tool bottom section.</p> |
