The subject matter of the invention is a pallet changer for machine tools (1) which has a rotary body (24) arranged between the work table (5) and a standby position and having holding elements for the positive-locking and releasable attachment of a pallet. To transport the work pallet (6), the rotary body (24) is rotatable about a vertical axis (17).
