摘要

PURPOSE:To improve corrosion and thermal shock resistances and to enhance ability to suppress internal stress due to the thermal expansion of a core metal and ability to absorb stress by blending aluminous raw material or raw material for mullite with SiC, a carbonaceous material, pagodite and/or quartzite and a binder. CONSTITUTION:Aluminous raw material or raw material for mullite is blended with 5-40wt.% SiC, 1-5wt.% carbonaceous material such as tar, 3-20wt.% pagodite and/or quartzite and 5-20wt.% binder such as alumina cement.
