<p>PURPOSE:To provide the automatic English letter editing device on which a letter document consisting of a date block, an address block, etc., can automati cally be edited into a letter document in desired letter format only by inputting the letter document. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic editing key is operated after document data on the English letter are inputted by operating character keys, a space key, etc., the document of the inputted English letter is displayed at the left end part of a display and layouts showing four letter formats respectively are displayed at the center part together with numbers 1-4. When one of number keys 1-4 is pressed (S25: Yes), the letter format flag corresponding to the number is set (S27) and the document data on the inputted English letter are edited into the selected letter format (S28 and S29) and stored in a work memory. Then the layout of the stored document data is displayed at the right end part on the display.</p> |
