PURPOSE: To manufacture a weld jointing part between fire-resistant metallic parts of an electric lamp light source having a high wattage by providing a porous surface layer sintered from fire resistant metallic powder, having a melting point higher than 2000 deg.C, onto a welding auxiliary material. CONSTITUTION: An upper surface layer 1a of a welding auxiliary material 1 is formed of Mo and/or Re metallic powder on a metallic base material 2, composed of Mo foil by utilizing sintering. Also a porous surface layer 1a, having a fire resistance higher than 2000 deg.C, and composed of preferably Mo metallic powder, is formed on the auxiliary material 1. The surface layer 1a can be formed of Mo- and Re-mixed powder, instead of the Mo metal alone, and the ratio of Re to Mo may have a range of 5-10% to cover range over a considerably wide area. The pore of the surface layer 1a of the auxiliary material 1 is filled with an additive 3 preferably composed of ethanol, but other alcohol derivative may be used. The additive 3, evaporated by heat which is generated in welding, forms a protective circle, further improving the quality of a welding part. |
