<p>Dividing walls for rooms and externally facing walls are assembled from half walls which are themselves assembled with efficiency and speed; the fitting and measuring work being reduced to the minimum irrespective of altering dimensions and layouts. The half walls consist of a framework of laths covered by panels, with, in the spaces between the laths a filling of synthetic foam. Assembly is effected in a mould inclined slightly away from the operative. This consists of a base plate on which there are parallel ribs spaced out at fixed modulus dimensions. The laths are positioned against the ribs and are fixed by a predetermined pattern of second laths, the thickness of which is equal to that of the first laths minus the height of the ribs on the mould. The pattern of laths is the covered by glueing panels to them.</p> |
